We were Orange County’s first cat café and now we are a non profit rescue with pop up events all over Orange County. In our ongoing mission, Catmosphere Laguna Foundation increases the county’s rate of feline adoptions and provides improved lives and futures for kitties awaiting their furrever homes. Located in the heart of Laguna Beach, Catmosphere Laguna Foundation provides foster homes for adoptable cats & kittens.
Environment
Catmosphere Laguna’s foster care environments allow these homeless cats and kittens to safely transition into a home-like environment before they find their furrever human homes. Our felines are certified healthy and arrive with big personalities!
Donations
100% of the proceeds from adoptions go directly to the care, treatment, and welfare of our cats and kittens, this includes spay/neuter procedures, testing and emergency treatments for homeless or abandoned cats and kittens. Nationally recognized, Catmosphere Laguna Foundation is praised by enthusiastic locals as well as feline lovers from all over the world. Are you still open as a cat cafe in Laguna Beach?
Unfortunately we had to shut our cafe doors in 2020. Since then we became a 501 C3 non profit with a new model. We currently have a foster team who cares for the kitties in their loving homes. Catmosphere Laguna provides all food, litter, and vetting (exceptions occur). We have adoption events all over Orange County that out wonderful fosters and Kitties attend in hopes of finding that purrfect match. Interested in becoming a foster? How much is the Adoption fee?
Catmosphere Laguna Foundation asks an adoption fee of $400 each for both cats and kittens. Adoption Fee for Bonded Pairs of Cats and/or Kittens is $700. Bonded pairs will not be separated. Veterinary fees consistently increase and that fee makes possible our mission to save abandoned and rescued felines, provide veterinary care, and pay it forward.
Adoption fees are tax-deductible and include: FELV/Fiv testing, full veterinary exam with flea and worm meds, spay/neuter and all follow-up medical care, all medications and/or treatments necessary, two FELV vaccinations, and microchip.
What if our match is not working?
As part of our mission, Catmosphere Laguna Foundation will ALWAYS accept the safe and pre-arranged relinquishment of one of our adopted cats or kittens. We want our felines safe and happy and a more “purrrfect” union will be arranged.

“We recently visited Catmosphere Laguna, an awesome cat cafe in Laguna Beach, CA! We had a great time visiting with the wonderful cats they have up for adoption. The cat room is colorful and fun! Two kittens were having a blast chasing each other in and out of a pop-up tent. Others were lounging on the furniture or climbing. The cafe also has drinks and food, and especially cute is their "cat-themed" wine and beer ( 9 Lives, Meiomi, etc.) Very clever. They also had the most adorable macarons. We appreciate all of the wonderful people we met who are dedicated to finding forever homes for these wonderful cats. If you are in the area, definitely show your support and stop by! They take reservations, so consider reserving your spot in advance!”

“My daughter's friend told us about this place. my daughters and their friends had such a great time playing with the kitties for an hour last weekend. It's a small room but there are plenty of cats to play with. Great for a family like ours who can't have cats because of allergies. I'm sure we'll come back soon. be sure to make a reservation online. It's $22 for adults and $12 for children.”

“Spent an hour with the kitties at 1pm and had a great time. This has got to be the best way ever to adopt a cat. You can spend time with them and really get a feel for their personalities. It's a relaxed environment where you can just hang with the cats. No stress, no cages, no rush decisions over whether the cat will be a good fit for your situation. The staff are really helpful- they're very aware of each cat's personality, and know which kitty plays well with others, and which might prefer to be in an only cat household. Also, highly recommend the Avocato Toast- delicious with the fresh mango on it!”
