Catmosphere Laguna Volunteers
Team Feline volunteers provide companionship and care to the fostered cats at Catmosphere Laguna through socializing, interactive play, caregiving and cleaning, grooming and cuddling. These important interactions allow our cats to gain socialization and behavioral skills and comfort while at Catmosphere Laguna awaiting their new homes. While under the supervision of management, Team Feline volunteers help to ensure that the space is safe and hygienic for cats and humans alike. Although all the adoptable cats at Catmosphere Laguna are screened for health and personality, our volunteers must be willing to work with a variety of different temperaments and must be able to follow and respect safety protocols for scared or aggressive cats.
Volunteers must be able to follow directions carefully and have quality interpersonal communication skills, as they will have direct exposure to the public. Volunteers must have hawk-like observational skills looking over the Kitty Playroom to ensure that our cats and guests are having a positive experience, and be able to step in if the situation warranted for intervention. And finally, our volunteers must have a passion for working with cats, carrying out the mission of Catmosphere Laguna and help match our kitties with their furrever homes!
